Cookies for every occasion

Very nice these biscuits! Perfect for a romantic, nice, funny  breakfast … or if you have to ask forgiveness 😉 so let the cookies to “talk” for you!


Preparation: 20 minutes + 20 minutes in the fridge – Cooking time: 10-15 minutes – Difficulty: easy

Ingredients (for about 25 biscuits ) :

  •     350g flour 00
  •     65g durum wheat flour
  •     210g brown sugar
  •     6-7 cardamom pods to flavor 45g of butter
  •     120g soft butter into small pieces
  •     1 egg
  •     1 pinch of salt


Melt 45g of  butter with the cardamom pods in a pan (do not fry the butter ! ).


Mix the flour and salt. In a bowl mix in the softened butter and sugar, then add the egg (photo 1) .



Add the flour and butter flavored (after discarding the cardamom) and form a ball that you will leave in the fridge for at least 30 minutes (photo 2).



Preheat oven to 180 ° C. Roll out the dough to a thickness of about 5-6 mm and cut out the cookies. I have this nice shaper with letters to write on cookies, but you can create the shapes you prefer!


Put the cookies again in the fridge for 10 minutes, then bake for about 10-15 minutes, until the edges are colored.
